Social Worker

Job Description:

Support individuals and their families through difficult times and ensure that vulnerable people, including children and adults, are safeguarded from harm. Main responsibilities to help improve outcomes in people’s life act as guides and advocates.

Full-time (160 hours per month) / $30,000 per year

Responsibilities:

Core responsibilities:

• Coordination of community meetings

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary groups 

• Work in a variety of settings within a framework of relevant legislation and procedures.

General responsibilities:

• Program documentation

• Monthly and quarterly reports

• Lead group presentations

Workplace:

• El Yunque National Forest YMCA terrains and other adjacent municipalities

Requirements:

• Degree in social work, psychology, or community behavior study. 

• Bilingual skills

• Microsoft Office experience

• Creative problem solver

• Car owner
