Program Coordinator - Recreación y Deportes

Job Description:

Responds directly to the program manager. As a sport and recreation coordinator duties includes scheduling and organizing activities, monitoring large and short capacity building events. Is in charge with the program manager of the identification of Instructors and resources. Also is directly involved in the selection of the participants in the program. Great communication skills needed, a very hands-on person who can keep track of students and help maintain interest in the program. Some work scenarios may include offices but other and mostly will be outdoor spaces which include hard terrains, mud, rain, water and others.

Full-time (160 hours per month) / $24,000 per year

Responsibilities:

Core responsibilities:

• Group coordination

• Monitoring and direct contact with the participants

General responsibilities:

• Monthly and quarterly reports

• Lead group presentations 

• Equipment supervision 

• Daily students group management

• In charge of Educational Equipment 

Workplace:

• El Yunque National forest YMCA terrains and other municipalities adjacent

Requirements:

• Bilingual skills domain

• Some experienced in sport in and recreation activities preferred

• Some experience in business development

• Microsoft Office experienced

• Car owner
